Glavac (nee Kustec), Matilda
February 1934 – January 2026
Passed away peacefully at the age of ninety-one. Beloved wife of the late Stanislav Glavac. Loving and devoted mother of Stanley (Line), Vladimir, and Rosaleen (David). Cherished grandmother (Mamca) of Emilie (Alex), Jeremy (Sarah-Jeanne), and Kimberly (Jonathan). Loving great-grandmother of Stanley, Paul, and Ophelie.
She will also be sadly missed by nephews, nieces and numerous family members and friends in Canada, the United States, France, and Slovenia.
The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 8, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. (prayer service to be held at 2 p.m.) at J.A. Guilbault Funeral Home Inc., 5359 St. Michel Boulevard (below Masson), Montreal, Quebec, H1Y 2C8, (514 721-4925).
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Vladimir Slovenian Parish, 3470 St. Joseph Boulevard East, Montreal, Quebec, H1X 1W6, (514 254-8286), thence to the Près-du-Fleuve Cemetery, 2750, Marie-Victorin Boulevard East, Longueuil, Quebec, J4G 1P5, (514 595-1500).
The family would like to thank the staff at Château Pierrefonds for the excellent care and kindness that they showed Matilda (Kustec) Glavac.
