It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marija Kovac on March 11, at the age of ninety. Beloved wife of the late Jozef Pelcar. Loving and devoted mother of Drago (Maria), Danica (Frank) and Joseph (Mary). Cherished grandmother of Jane (Danny), Kristin (Sattar) and Michael (Alessandra). Loving great-grandmother of Julia, Annabelle, Dustin, Alexander, Nicholas and David. Survived by her brother Franc (Cvetka Glavac), her sister Vika (Franc Krpic), nephews, nieces and many loved relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, March 16, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (prayer service to be held at 2:30 p.m.) at the J.A. Guilbault Funeral Home Inc., 5359 Saint-Michel Boulevard (below Masson Street), Montreal Quebec H1Y 2C8. Phone: 514 721-4925.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Vladimir Slovenian Parish, 3470 Saint-Joseph Boulevard East, Montreal Quebec H1X 1W6, thence to Le repos Saint-François d’Assise Cemetery, 6893 Sherbrooke Street East, Montreal Quebec H1N 1C7.
