In loving memory of Michelle De Laplante Dagenbach, who passed away peacefully in Montreal, on December 21, at the age of eighty-eight, surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.
Michelle was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was deeply rooted in love and family. In 1956, she married the love of her life, Norbert Dagenbach. Together they shared many years of marriage and built a strong family foundation until Norbert’s passing in 1998.
She was the proud mother to six children: Richard (Dyane), Linda (Terry), Ronald (Roxane) Dennis, Jeffrey (deceased in 1996), and Steven. Cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren and beloved great-grandmother to her numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She was recently predeceased by her beloved grandson, Shawn Potter Dagenbach, who passed on November 8 of this year. Their passing so close together is a profound loss for the family, and they will be lovingly remembered together. She also leaves to mourn many other loved relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, December 29, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the J.A. Guilbault Funeral Home Inc., 5359 St. Michel Blvd. below Masson, Montreal, 514-721-4925.
A prayer service will be held on the same day at 8 p.m., in the chapel of the funeral home.
The burial will take place on Tuesday, December 30, at 2:15 p.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
