Balazic (nee Horvat), Terezija

August 11, 1939 - June 4, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terezija Horvat on June 4, at the age of eighty-six.  Beloved wife of the late Stefan Balazic.  Loving and devoted mother of Joseph and Nicole (Benjamin Hoffmann). Loving grandmother of Nathan and Julian. Survived by her brothers late Stefan (late Matilda), late Janez (Mary), Tinek (Darinka), her sisters late Anika (late Stevek), Marija (late Josef), Lizika (Tine), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and many loved relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, June 12, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (prayer service to be held at 2:30 p.m.) at

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Vladimir Slovenian Parish, 3470 St. Joseph Blvd. East Montreal, H1X 1W6, thence to Le repos Saint-François d’Assise Cemetery, 6893, Sherbrooke Street East, Montreal.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends are invited to donate to St. Vladimir Slovenian Parish.
