Balazic, Martin

September 4, 1937-June 19, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Martin Balazic, on June 19, 2025 at the age of eighty-seven.

Beloved husband of the late Vera Zerdin.  Loving father of John (Johanne) and the late Maryanne. Cherished grandfather of Samantha (Julian) and Brandon (Sarah) and their mother Mariana Horvat.  He will also be sadly missed by his sister Ana (late Jozef Smodis) and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 25, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 2:30 p.m., at the J.A. Guilbault Funeral Home Inc., 5359 St. Michel Blvd., Montreal, QC H1Y 2C8.  T. 514 721-4925.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26, at 1 p.m. at St. Vladimir Parish, 3470 St. Joseph Blvd. East, Montreal, QC H1X 1W6, and thence to the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
